United Methodist Student Day - November 25, 2025

In 1866, a special fund was established for the advanced education of Sunday-school children and the educational preparation of persons for the ministry and missionary service. The 1940 General Conference established Methodist Student Day with a churchwide offering. The 1968 Uniting Conference continued this connectional student-aid program to be funded by the United Methodist Student Day offering. Dates for taking the offering have changed through the years.

This year it is on Sunday, November 25th.

Conversational Spanish

The Conversational Spanish class will begin in November. The class will be from 2-3pm every Sunday. Conversational Spanish is geared to the conversation you could have going into a Hispanic restaurant or grocery store. This class will tour Hispanic super markets and restaurants to practice learned phrases. If you are interested please call Emily at 843-901-3482.

There will also be sandwiches to enjoy - shrimp hoagies, chicken salad, etc. Contact Pam Forbes at 797-7365 if interested in renting space or have questions.

Attention Lay Speakers

Lay Speakers are required to submit a Lay Speakers Annual Report at the Charge Conference. This form must be filled out and signed by Pastor Debra by November 1, 2012. The Charge Conference is on Monday, November 5th.

Women's Retreat

The women’s annual Spiritual Life retreat will be held at Camp St. Christopher on

October 19-21st. Cost per person is $130.00 which includes lodging and meals.
